Joana Vasconcelos Boat starts cruising the Tagus on Saturday | NEWS

ImageJoana Vasconcelos is one of the most known Portuguese artists and represented or country at the 2013 Biennale di Venezia (International Art Exhibition) with a redecorated old typical Tagus River Boat (called Cacilheiro in Portuguese).

The boat name is “Trafaria Praia” and is now in Lisbon cruising everyday the Tagus.

You can travel in the “Cacilheiro” between Terreiro do Paço and the Belém Tower: Tuesdays to Fridays, at 11:00, 16:00 and at 19:00, and Saturdays and Sundays, at 11:00, 15:00, 17:00 and at 19:00. 

You can also just Experience it while having a drink at the Quiosque Ribeira das Naus, a promenade by the Tagus right in front of where the boat will be docked.

NEW ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY CENTRE | News

The EDP Foundation Center for Art and Technology will be a new cultural space in Lisbon, as big as the major European cities have, with a contemporary and international programming.

The new building, signed by the British architect Amanda Levete, uses an organic architecture that provides a fluid and natural relationship between the city and the river.

The new Arts Center will have exhibit rooms, educational services, an auditorium, a restaurant, and spaces for permanent exhibitions.
